Ultroid
This method has been FDA approved for hemorrhoid treatment since 1987. It involves the application of a micro-electrical current to the internal hemorrhoidal tissue, causing it to dry out and shrink. Although this procedure takes a few minutes longer to perform than infrared coagulation, it can be more effective than infrared coagulation in advanced cases.
